Open to all featured readers and attendees of 4 New Moons inspiration rituals.

Writing Submission Guidelines:

• You are invited to submit up to 5 poems or short pieces of writing. This may be writing read at the rituals, written at the rituals or inspired/connected to your experience of the rituals or of topics including respite, intuition, growth, sacred space, ritual, goddexx and/or the divine feminine (use your judgement; trust your instincts)

• First publishing rights are not required. Previously published work is welcome. We ask that you please provide notice a work has been previously published and the proper crediting details.

• The content of your submissions should be of your own generation with the exception of collage poems created within the rituals

• If you submit collage poems, please note the date of the ritual they were created at if possible so we are able to properly credit the featured readers who inspired the collage

• Please place all pieces you are contributing in one single google/word/text/pdf document and attach it to your email. If your piece(s) features special formatting, indentations or creative spacing please include a PDF so the formatting is not lost in translation

• In your document please include:

  • Each piece on a separate page with titles in bold

  • Your full desired publishing name for credit

  • A biography of 200 words or less

Artwork Submission Guidelines:

• You are invited to submit up to 5 pieces of art. This may be art generated during the rituals or inspired/connected to your experience of the rituals or of topics including respite, intuition, growth, sacred space, ritual, goddexx and/or the divine feminine (use your judgement; trust your instincts)

• Art may be hand-generated, digitally-generated, photography or documentation of performance art

• First publishing rights are not required. Previously published work is welcome. We ask that you please provide notice a work has been previously published and the proper crediting details.

• The content of your submissions should be of your own generation

• Please attach your artwork submission as high resolution files to a single email (or provide a link to google drive or dropbox for download). File names should reflect artwork titles.

• In the body of your email please include:

  • A numbered list of the artwork you are submitting including the title and medium for each

  • Your full desired publishing name for credit

  • A biography of 200 words or less

Selection & Proofing
We plan to include at least one entry from each person who submits. You’ll be notified of which pieces and/or art from your submission have been selected to appear in the anthology by December 1. You’ll have one opportunity to proof your piece(s) in the anthology and request edits.

Publishing Format & Proceeds
The volume and length of submitted materials and mediums of submitted art will help us determine if the anthology will be published in a digital edition, or a combination of print/digital. Submitters will receive free access to the digital edition of the anthology. 100% of proceeds from public distribution of the digital and/or print anthology will be donated to Seeding Sovereignty. We look forward to your writing and art!
