Crochet to the Moon Progress Update - January 2021
It’s official! We are now crocheting through the Thermosphere!
Thank you to everyone who made it possible to reach our goal of 100,000 yards before the new year. On average, we are each crocheting about 600 yards per person per month, which means we will need a total of 11,000 people crocheting at that pace to finish in five years. This is many fewer than our original estimate of 300,000! You all are crocheting rockstars!
We’ve added a pattern share option to the form submission so we can create more community around our project, and we are excited to announce that Regina Weiss of Morale Fiber has teamed up to join our efforts and is offering pattern discounts (details below)!
Yards completed: 103,735
Yards to go: 420,360,265
