Surrogate Partner Therapy
Surrogate partner therapy is a four-part process that takes places with the help of a therapist. This therapy is specifically for people looking to overcome sexual discomfort, have a first-time sexual experience, recover from sexual trauma, or otherwise reintroduce themselves to sexuality. This modality happens over the course of four sessions, and after each session, the participant meets with their therapist to discuss what comes up at every step of the way.
The four sessions happen as follows:
Getting to know each other and clothed, exploratory touch
Cuddling and explorations of nudity
Sexual acts that specifically relate to the participant’s healing
Integration and goodbyes
Because they are pansexual, queer, plural, and polyamorous, Andra is most interested in people looking to re-explore sexuality in a new way. They also have a lot of sympathy for those coming back to sexuality after grief or those who have medical dilemmas that complicate traditional sexual acts.
Andra takes on a limited number of surrogate partner therapy sessions, and it is a time commitment of a minimum of a month. Surrogate partner packages start at $1,200 and include eight total session hours with Andra. If you do not already have a therapist interested in helping you with this process, Andra can recommend therapists they trust.
