Crochet to the Moon Progress - Fall 2021 Update

Progress Update

We slowed down just a touch this month but still logged 122,223 yards in September! We are deliciously close to our first million, and we have officially exited the Thermosphere! Let’s keep ramping up, logging yardage, inviting friends, and keeping those fingers busy so we can make it out of Earth’s atmosphere.

Who’s excited for Halloween?

We’ll keep posting and getting the word out about this project, and you keep up the needlework.

Don’t worry if you don’t hear from us for a little while. We are still counting; we might just move these updates to a quarterly cadence.

And don’t forget! Knitting and yarn bombing count, too. Get creative!

If you haven’t found us on social media yet, check out @crochet_to_the_moon on Instagram or our Facebook group. If you post your photos there, we will get some of them posted!

Enjoy the free pattern below that one of our astronauts crocheted their own version of. If you would like us to feature your pattern in our next newsletter, please email avltavin@gmail.com.
