Crochet to the Moon Progress - August 2021

Progress Update

Probably because summer is in full swing here, we entered a little bit of a lull both with yardage added and will new people joining. Thank you to those of you who are holding strong. We crocheted about 92,000 yards as a collective this past month, which is still nothing to sneeze at!

While we definitely hope that we aren’t headed back into another long, scary lockdown, the upside would be lots of time for fiber art!

Regardless, fall is right around the corner, and we’re are sure that the pace will pick up around then. We will also work on getting some press going to keep our numbers climbing!

We’ve got a long way to go to exit the Earth’s atmosphere, but I believe in us. We got this.

And don’t forget! Knitting and yarn bombing count, too. Get creative!

If you haven’t found us on social media yet, check out @crochet_to_the_moon on Instagram or our Facebook group. If you post your photos there, we will get some of them posted!
