Crochet to the Moon Progress - September 2021

Progress Update

Woo! We definitely picked up speed in August and crocheted (and knitted) a whopping 132,513 yards. Great work everyone! Thank you to all our new astronauts who joined this month. We need your rocket fuel (I mean, yarn)!

We only need to crochet 94,880 more yards to fully exit the Thermosphere. Next stop: the Exosphere. We are achieving escape velocity!

As we head into fall, there are lots of fun patterns calling our names. Bust out those scarves, gloves, Halloween costumes, and jackets!

We’ll keep posting and getting the word out about this project, and you keep up the needlework. Looking forward to a cozy fall and winter.

And don’t forget! Knitting and yarn bombing count, too. Get creative!
