support your nervous system and invite connection to your essential self with your favorite sound/music, lighting, candles, incense/aromatherapy and tea/sustenance, etc.
plan for a comfortable place to sit, lay, stand or walk for somatic meditations
keep your journal/sketch book and pen/pencil handy
optional you might also want headphones, a timer and/or art supplies (if you like to express ideas visually in addition to writing)
